Facing west over the estuary and Coromandel Ranges, this Pauanui bach has a `boomerang' inspired layout. The two bedroom wings are connected by an overheight living pavilion that opens onto a raised terrace with a a sunken outdoor fireplace. simple, neutral materials, including vertical cedar weatherboards and kwila decking, create a relaxed bachy feel.
